Early Morning Entrapment
Fri, Sep 4th, 2020 2:08:00 am Around 0200hrs, the Squad (Lieut D. Leaonhard) and Utility (Capt. Weaver) responded to 22/322 in the area of the Pilot for an Accident w/ Entrapment. Crews arrived to find a pickup truck vs. tractor trailer with heavy entrapment. The Amkus spreaders, cutters, and large ram were used to remove both sides of vehicle and lift dash off of patient to perform extrication. After extrictation, crews cleared debris. Company 2 was assited on scene by Rescue 9 (New Buffalo).
